Our Mission to You
Our mission at 1 Source Chiropractic is to serve our patients and our community with a spirit of total caring and to provide quality service to each patient as a unique individual with specific health needs and wants. Our number one purpose is to serve you.
Furthermore, we strive to act as teachers, healers, and health caretakers so we may be able to bring the health benefits of chiropractics within the understanding and availability to all, so they too may experience true ‘living’ and ‘health’ that comes from having a healthy spine and nervous system.
Chiropractic does indeed provide life for the spine and the body as a whole, helping us all to realize our true health potential. Our spine and the nervous system it protects, is one of the most important organs of our body. It regulates all movement, healing, sensation, bodily function, and activity. Without good spinal health we grow old before our time. We believe proper spinal care is a higher health goal and we commit ourselves to you in helping you achieve your health goals today, tomorrow, for the rest of your lifetime, and for generations to come.
We will make every effort to do whatever is necessary so that everyone we come in contact with has the opportunity to have their spines checked, cared for and to receive preventative spinal care, so they may live the longest, healthiest and most active lifestyle possible.
Dr. Jorge L. Santana, DC
Dr. Santana moved to Miami from Puerto Rico at the age of 7. In 1996, he graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. degree in Food and Nutrition Science, specializing in exercise physiology. During his time at F.S.U. he was involved in several research projects that were published in peer review journals. After graduating from F.S.U., he attended Life University, School of Chiropractic, where in 2001 he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. During 2001/02, Dr. Santana practiced in Queens, New York. He managed and oversaw every aspect of a clinic that dealt specifically with patients suffering from injuries related to work or automobile accidents.
Dr. Santana returned to Florida in 2002. He relocated to the Tampa Bay Area, his wife’s hometown. At that point, Dr. Santana was hired by a clinic in the Town and Country area. He managed and oversaw that clinic for 8 years. During his time there, he came in contact with a variety of patients ranging from auto and work related injuries, sports injuries, pediatric as well as geriatric patient, and patients that were interested in preventative and maintenance care.
In January of 2010, Dr. Santana opened the doors of 1 Source Chiropractic & Physical Medicine, Inc. This is the area where he lives, where his kids attend school, and where he plans to stay for a long time. He wanted to bring his experience and his philosophy to Land O’ Lakes and the surrounding areas.
